The most inportant item In selling your RV quickly and at your asking price is to have it properly cleaned and polished.

If you are unable to have it cleaned before you consign it we can have it detailed for you. Spending a little can raise the selling price of your unit.

In most cases the detail will cost around $15 per running foot. Example, a 20 ft trailer will cost around $300.

In keeping with our No Listing Fee Policy you do not have to pay for this up front we can deduct this from your ballance after the RV is sold. If in the unlikely event it doesn't sell you can pay for the detail when you pick up your RV.

We consign diesel and gas motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels that are 10 years old and newer that are clean and in above average condition. Please no water damaged units.

There is no charge unless we sell your RV. There are no storage fees charged during the term of the listing agreement.

Financing

We do the title work and handle the payoffs when your RV is sold. Because we also sell new, our lenders can usually lower a customers payment and finance longer than a bank or credit union.

Trade-ins

Vogt accepts all types of vehicles (cars, trucks, motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and pop-ups) as trade-ins for any of the units on our sales lot. Just select the vehicle you would like to purchase. If it is a consignment we will purchase that vehicle from its owner with the intention of trading for your current vehicle. Vogt will give you a fair trade in value for your current unit and apply it to the trade. Vogt buys the trades. We are not dependant on other dealerships to appraise their value.

Service Agreements

Extended service agreements are offered by Vogt on most vehicles. Potential buyers are leery of purchasing a used unit without a warranty. Our extended Service Policys provide buyers with peace of mind and help sell your RV quickly.

We may already have a buyer for your RV. We always have a number of customers that have told us what they are looking for and are waiting for for us to call.

Please bring the following paperwork with you:

* Original title or duplicate copy if you have a lien holder.
* Proof of Insurance. You should also check with your insurance company to make sure the RV is covered on our lot.
* Lien holder info.: name, account #, payoff and their phone number.
* Drivers license. * Texas state inspection sticker required on all vehicles including 5th wheels and trailers.
* Most recent recreational vehicle license receipt.
* Please empty all tanks including water tanks. * Please remove all personal items from the RV.
* Please have your motor home fuel tank at least half full. This will allow us to run the generator for potential buyers.
* Please have some propane so that we can show the buyer that the refrigerator and other appliances work on LP.
